BUX.TO

How Bux.to works

Bux.to is NOT a Autosurf, Multi-Level Marketing, Pyramid, Ponzi, Matrix or "Get Rich Quick" scheme.

Bux.to is a new innovative, international and FREE English based service that allows advertisers to reach thousands of potential customers by displaying their ad on our, "Surf Ads" page. A exact calculated percentage of all advertising revenue is paid to our members. Bux.to makes money via advertising, other advertising sources throughout the website as well as earning through direct sponsorship of other Bux.to members, just like a regular member does.

How you make money

You view websites in 30 second sessions via the "Surf Ads" page. Once the 30 seconds is up, you'll either get a green tick sign or a red 'X'. The green tick sign means you've earned $0.01 and as premium member $0.0125 for the visit and the 'X' means you have not earned money for the visit. You'll get red X's when you have more than one website from the "Surf Ads" page open. When this happens, you get no credit.

A valuable benefit to both the members and the advertisers is the repeat exposure that the advertiser gets. Whenever you click and view a website, you can visit that website again in 24 hours as long as the visit cap hasn't been reached. That's right! After 24 hours you can click and view the website again. This gives the advertiser optimal exposure by using "repeat advertising" and it further increases the members earning potential.

Earnings example (based on current averages)
» You click 10 ads per day = $0.10
» 20 referrals click 10 ads per day = $2.00
» Your daily earnings = $2.10
» Your weekly earnings = $14.70
» Your monthly earnings = $63.00

although, we cannot guarantee that you will earn such a profit.

While we have no way of knowing how many ads will be available on a per week basis, we do know that Bux.to is growing rapidly and advertisers are discovering the true potential of our service. We've just started and our advertiser base is small so BE PATIENT! Over the next coming months you will see an increase in the ads which will only increase your earnings! This is not a get-rich-scheme or scam, but it can put some extra gas money in your pocket!

SnagIt 9 Review: The Top New Features of SnagIt 9 + A Free License

TechSmith today released SnagIt 9 – the best screen capture program for Windows. SnagIt 9 is available for download on Windows XP and Vista systems though the Mac version is still in the works.

The screen capture features in SnagIt 9 are more or less the same as in previous versions but they have completely revamped the user interface on the lines of Office 2007 Ribbon.

The image editor included in SnagIt 9 is more powerful than ever before and offers a plethora of tools / images effects to make your screenshot images look more professional. Here’s a list of some favorite features included in SnagIt 9:

1. Office 2007 Ribbon Interface – If you are already using an Office 2007 program like PowerPoint or Word, you would have no trouble getting “fluent” with the new SnagIt 9 interface. Others may take some time to master the new layout but once you are comfortable, you’re going to love it.

2. Crop Screenshot Images Quickly – You can now remove the white space areas around screen captures in a click using the trim command that you may have seen in Photoshop as well. SnagIt 9 will crop everything surrounding the actual image like in the above case of Google logo.

photoshop trim

3. Screenshot Manager with Instant Search – With SnagIt 9, you will never have to worry about saving or losing your screen capture images because everything gets saved on your hard drive automatically the moment you hit the print screen key.

screenshot search

What’s more interesting is that SnagIt 9 even remembers the name of the application where that screenshot was taken. For instance, if you search for Firefox, you will see all images that were captured inside the Firefox window. This is awesome.

screenshot tags

4. Flags and Keywords – You can tag your screenshots with Flags and / or keywords. May sound a bit confusing but Flags are like categories – you could have one for Website screenshots, one for Bank Transactions, etc. You can further describe these images via keywords like amazon, bank, yahoo, etc.

snagit logo Since I am an Office 2007 user for a long time, getting used to the new Ribbon interface of SnagIt 9 didn’t take much effort though I wish there was an option to change the color theme like in Office 2007. The new release of SnagIt is highly recommended for power users since it makes it very easy to manage your large collection of screenshot images.

To get a 30 day trial of SnagIt, go to SnagIt.com. Explore the software and let us know here what you like about SnagIt 9. One of you will get a licensed copy of SnagIt 9 for free.

How to Upload MP3 Music Files to Flickr or Picasa Web Albums

While most people use Flickr for uploading photos and videos, one can also use photo sharing websites like Picasa or Flickr for hosting MP3 songs and other audio files.

For instance, these Flickr pictures are identical but the one on right is actually an MP3 file.

upload mp3 flickr

To hide an MP3 file into a JPEG image, copy the MP3 file and a picture into a folder. Open the command prompt window (Start –> Run –> cmd) and switch to this folder. Now run the following command:

copy /b my_picture.jpg + my_song.mp3 my_new_picture.jpg

Remember to replace my_picture and my_song with relevant file names. Next, upload the my_new_picture.jpg file to Flickr. The MP3 song picture will look just like any other regular photograph that you share on Flickr.

hide mp3

When you want to download that MP3 file from Flickr, open the relevant photo page, go to “All Sizes” and download the original sized image (example). Change the file extension to MP3 and enjoy the music using Winamp*.

And not just MP3 files, you can upload virtually any filetype to Flickr using the above trick including PDFs and Microsoft Office documents. But you may also want to consult Flickr policies to make sure that they don’t ban you for this.

Adobe Acrobat.com Is Good But There Are Many Limitations

The world is so excited about the launch of acrobat.com - a web based suite with a word processor, a screen sharing application, a PDF converter and online file hosting. Like everything else from Adobe, it is a real pleasure working with every single component of Acrobat online. The interface is very well designed, the various features work just as expected and those visual effects make this suite all the more attractive. And Adobe Buzzword is probably the only online word processor that can read as well as write files in the new docx format of Microsoft Office Word 2007. adobe-acrobatThe upcoming Adobe Reader 9 is tightly integrated with acrobat.com such that you can share PDF files on the web from the desktop itself. I have been playing with acrobat.com for few hours and have found certain limitations that are difficult to ignore: 1. The PDF conversion engine of acrobat.com allows you to convert only up to 5 documents into PDF online. Am not sure why Adobe has imposed this low limit when services like Google Docs, Zamzar or Scribd offer unlimited conversions. 2. Adobe Acrobat.com offers 5 GB of free online storage but you cannot upload audio or video files including Adobe’s own Flash video format. You may however store PDFs, Office documents, images, Adobe formats (like Photoshop, Illustrator) and SWF files. 3. While you may upload documents to Acrobat.com in bulk using the web browser or by dragging them into the Acrobat AIR app, uploading files via email is currently not possible. 4. With 5 GB of storage space, you can literally upload thousands of files to your Acrobat.com account but managing so many files can get extremely tough because everything gets stored at one place - you can’t tag documents or arrange them in folders. 5. There’s no search feature in acrobat.com - forget searching inside the documents, there’s no option to search for file names even. 6. Adobe Acrobat.com offers an excellent file preview feature where you can read Office documents in the browser itself but the problem is that it renders everything in Flash. You therefore cannot copy-paste text or images from the documents without downloading them locally. 7. Each document on acrobat.com has its own unique web address but since you can publish documents as HTML web pages, the content will remain inaccessible on most mobile phone that cannot understand Flash (like my BlackBerry). 8. While you can upload files to acrobat.com in bulk via the browser or desktop, the reverse is is not possible. It is not possible to export all documents out of Acrobat.com in one go though you can download them one by one. A similar issue exists in Google Docs as well. It goes without saying that Adobe, with the launch of acrobat.com, is very serious about the web office space. The product is impressive (especially document collaboration) but I think Adobe still has some way to go before we can call it a threat to competing products like Google Docs, WebEx, Microsoft Office or even Scribd as some people are saying on Techmeme.

Bass fishing secrets

This site is very interesting for those who really like the bass fishing.

You are about to discover why the pros catch more bass than you!

In fact, you are going to discover how they catch bass (like clockwork) that weigh 9 pounds or more!

Let me ask you a question...

How valuable would these professional fishing secrets be to you?

Well, this information was extremely valuable to me! It was so valuable, I went overboard and started doing a ton of research. I looked everywhere. I was spending countless hours, trying to find the answers to catching bigger bass...

I was tired of spending hours fishing for bass and coming home with nothing to show...

I was spending painstaking hours trying to piece together the answers, without much luck at all... It seemed the pros and the people who really knew how to catch a lot of bass would not reveal their secrets.

I was just about to quit trying and give up... until late one night I discovered a real expert who was willing to share the top pros best secrets...

Browse Images From Google Face Search Using Cover Flow Interface

You may remember using the beautiful Cover Flow interface in iTunes or the iPod touch that helps you quickly browse through your music and video collection - now a similar interface is available for viewing faces on Google Images. Go to facesaerch.com (not facesearch.com), type the name / surname of a person and start flipping the facial images served from Google Images. You can either drag the slider or use the keyboard arrow keys to navigate through the images. And while you can search for anything, facial search on Google Images works best if you look for a real person. For instance, typing "Crow" would not looking for images of the bird "crow" but a person with crow in his or her name - like Sheryl Crow. You may also Google Face search to determine if a person is male or female based on the first name and / or surname. Internally, the above Face Search tool uses Protoflow which is a JavaScript library that emulates the Cover Flow effect in a browser.

Learn Ms access

Msaccesstips.com

I found this site very interesting. The developer of this site is Mr. A.P. Ramachandran pillai who has a great experience in the Ms access field
(I am not an Access Guru and not through MS-Access yet. More to learn and I don’t think that aspect has any end because others have their own style of using this tool. We can learn lot more tricks, other than what we already know, from others too. My programming skills in COBOL, BASIC, Turbo-C, dBase, FoxPro, Visual Basic & Basic HTML attained through self-learning. I wrote my first COBOL Program in 1975 for ICL1901, 3rd Generation Main Frame Computer. Worked as a Computer Operator (NCR VRX8555 Mainframe Machine upto 1990) with M/s. Y.B.A. Kanoo, Saudi Arabia. Started using MS-Access Ver.2 in 1996, when dBase III+ and Foxbase (later version Foxpro) were my favorite DBMS. During Last 10 Year period I have developed more than 35 In-House Applications (medium & small) under MS-Access for our Organization, a leading Automotive Company in Oman. All the Applications are fully secured and runs under Windows Network. It is my pleasure to share my experience with others. I am not that good when putting my ideas on paper, but I hope it coveys what I meant. Anything interesting that you would like to share with me,) Those who wish to explore the new aspects of Ms access this site will be more valuable.

New Windows Live Writer Adds Easy Image Editing

Windows Live Writer, your favorite blog editing software, just got better. You can now crop pictures and screenshot images right inside Windows Live Writer without requiring external software. There’s a new tilt feature that lets you rotate pictures by a custom angle. The new version also adds some new visual effects for your photos including Reflection and Rounded Corners. They are simple things but definitely help in making your blog entries more appealing. With the new Windows Live Writer, you can also upload videos directly to MSN soapbox though we would like to see support for YouTube as well. Available at Writer Zone. It’s a technical preview but pretty stable. I also find this release a bit faster than the previous version.
